7 Summer Essentials To Help You Survive The Heat

I am all about sunshine and sparkles! Summer is basically my jam. Longer days, shorter clothes, brighter mornings, blue skies and being able to sip on those cool lattes with the breeze in my hair... Summer is when I come alive.

But being a Delhi girl, summer means excessive heat, sweat pools, and quicker tanning. The shorts may have come out, but there is a whole lot of other stuff that needs to make its way to your wardrobe and vanity box. The best way to prepare for summer is by embracing all that comes with it, and that can only be done by having the right kind of ammunition in your armor. Here is a list of everything you’ll need for a seamless summer:

Sunglasses

To help you keep your eyes from squinting when you step out in the sun and of course, to up the ante on any look that you decide to put on for the day!

Sunscreen

Sunkissed looks good only on Instagram filters, and not so much when it comes with uneven tan lines. Save your skin from the needless drama, and pick a sunscreen that protects it well!

Make up remover

Keep a remover handy, to let your skin breathe and feel fresh amidst the maddening heat.

Swimwear

Summer isn’t complete if you don’t jump in a pool with your friends at least once. Keep a pair of swimsuit ready at all times, just in case you decide to getaway for a dewy retreat by the pool.

Vitamin-C Serum

Vitamin C serum helps you hydrate and replenish your skin within minutes… something that the drying heat will leave you in need of.

Panty Liners

If one can’t escape sweating even in the breeziest of areas of the body, it is unreasonable to think that there won’t be sweating or rashes in the summer near your private parts. For those uncomfortable moments, these rash-free and chlorine-free panty liners will do you well, and get you through your periods without a sweat!

Body Mist

Body odour follows some like a lost puppy during the warmer months, and if you are not the one to leave a bad (smelling) impression, it is advisable to keep a mist in your bag for a refreshing spray during the day!
